As the transition of weather has begun from fall to winter, one of the first few things which come to mind – for probably all women – is what shoes to wear and how to wear them. You’re probably wondering how and why women at times wear heels in the cold – don’t worry us too! Well…in essence, it’s kind of simple – they still want to maintain that “look” so they end up sucking it up! LOL!
On a serious note though, in a way all it takes is planning your day accordingly and figuring out as to when and where you will be wearing your heels. For instance, if you work within an office setting you can simply change your shoes at work. This takes care of two things: 1) You save yourself and your toes by walking in warmer shoes as opposed to your heels during the more frigid temperatures, and 2) You manage to prolong the life of those favourite heels of yours by keeping them away from the salted sidewalks. Or, if you have an event to go to – where it’s an utter must that you wear your heels going there – plan your route as to where you would park your vehicle so that you’re not walking outside for long. These are tips that we sisters abide by, as we fall into the category of enjoying the wear of our heels throughout the winter season.
Today though is slightly different…with these two-toned Manolo Blahnik heels we wanted to wear them as long as we can! Luckily, the day of our shoot turned out to be warm enough to make it last just another day and with these Manolo’s, we couldn’t be happier! With its silver pointy toes and two-toned colour block it’s easy to see why we love these so much. Although pointy heels aren’t as popular as they once were, we have taken notice that they are starting to come back full-circle and in style. With that being said, be sure to hang on to some of those old heels from the past as you just never know as to when they’ll make their come back!
