The Golden Globes 2015 Gowns That Deserved More

Every year the Golden Globes pops up in my Instagram feed and I can’t look away. I don’t watch it on TV, I wait for the gowns to circulate on social media. There’s always about five or six dresses that stay in my feed and we all drool over them for hours. Don’t worry, you won’t miss them, because every fashion blogger will include them in their posts at least one day this week.
It’s the unexpected less noted gowns that I always love to see. Kate Hudson’s white cut-out gown was sleek and stunning. Jennifer Lopez’s over-the top dress was…over the top. Chrissy Teigan’s dress was girly and modern and Sienna Miller had a lovely whimsical gown. But there were a few other’s that needed a nod as well. Rather than show you what you have already seen, I want to point out the gowns that did not get as much attention but should have.
Here are the top 5…

Just As Good, If Not Better Gowns From the 2015 Golden Globes:

Jenna

1. Jenna Tatum
Why: Because her dress is elegant and in an unexpected hue.
Ugh, this dress is so gorgeous and tasteful. Without any sparkles or poufy skirts, she completely stood out with an elegantly structured dress in a beautiful colour that complimented her well. I love everything about her look. Gown: House of Herra.

Anna-1

2. Anna Kendrick
Why: Because it’s fun, girly and romantic.
This is exactly what I would expect Anna to wear. After watching her star in Kate Spade’s holiday commercials, I can tell she’s fun girly, and a little all over the place. This dress is perfect for her, and it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s such a romantic and sweet gown. Gown: Monique Lhuillier.

Greer

3. Greer Grammer
Why: Because the colour is lovely, and it has just the perfect amount of sparkles.
Grammer and Kendrick both has similar gowns, but they were so perfect for them. I’m a sucker for romance, and I love everything about the nude colour with the pretty little pops of sparkle.
Gown: Lorena Sarbu

kate

4. Kate Beckinsdale
Why: Call me old fashioned, but a classic gown goes a long way compared to the over-the-top structured gowns we see.
Kate looks stunning and classy in her grey coloured gown with a sequined top. This classic look sets her apart from the rest.
Gown: Ellie Saab

Julia

5. Julia Goldani Telles
Why: Because it’s a for real Golden Globes dress.
Now, this – this is a gown! Royal blue, perfectly fitted top with a dramatic skirt. It is such a perfect dress for the Golden Globes. I love the modern take on a classic ball gown, and she really should have stolen this show with this look.
Gown: Carmen Marc Valvo
