Valentine’s Day was a day FULL of love. Instagram was coated with posts from people celebrating the holiday either with their beloved, gal pals, furry friends and/or my personal favourite, themselves (because why should we be ashamed to show love for ourselves on this day?!). Even the streets were sprinkled with men rushing home after work, bouquet in hand. 

I realized something this year. Either people “believe” in Valentine’s Day or they don’t. I do. Wholeheartedly. As cheesy as it can be, I LOVE love. Yes, there doesn’t need to be a designated day out of the year to tell someone you love them BUT we shouldn’t be bitter that there actually is. Love is a beautiful thing and I think we should quit being negative about Valentine’s Day because it’s a happy holiday.

As you can tell, I’m still in a lovey dovey mood post-Valentine’s Day. So, let’s talk For LOVE & Lemons. It was cultivated on the principles of confidence, femininity and individuality.
