If there is any piece of jewelry that a woman or man should invest in, it is a watch. A watch is a signature piece that you can wear everyday that adds an air of class to any outfit. When you select a watch, you want to make sure that you are picking something that is timeless and suits your personality.

One of my favourite watches right now is by Marc by Marc Jacobs. This watch has a beautiful black and gold setting; these simple colours make the watch clean, sleek and simple. The watch’s strap is black rubber, with pins that match the gold studs that in the setting. Overall, this watch is a great everyday accessory because black will literally go with everything in your closet.

Michael Kors is also another brand that makes exquisite watches that we cannot help but drool over. Michael Kors is known for having heavier watches that are chunky, but still extremely stylish. This brand has every kind of watch, whether you’re the type of girl to glitz it up, keep it classy or even a little quirky.

Timex – there is so much to say about this brand and the way they create their watches, especially the one I am going to showcase here. I find that Timex relishes in experimenting with creating watches that sets them apart from the rest of the brands. Take this design for example; it has a very vintage retro, woodsy vibe, but is classy at the same time.

Looking for something ultra simple and subtle? How about a Vintage Seiko oversized silver leather watch? Simple and chic is something we can all wear and feel confident in, especially when checking the time casually while waiting for the bus. This watch has a mid-century-modern vibe that speaks volumes to a watch admirer.

At the end of the day, I believe nothing says, “I’ve got my life together,” like owning a really nice watch — not only are you telling the world that you’re punctual, but you’re saying it with style!
