2014 MTV VMA’s Best & Worst Dressed

This years MTV Video Music Awards took place on Sunday night at Forum near Los Angeles where you found celebrities that walked down the red carpet donning looks from glamorous and classy down to wild and outrageous. There was a whole lot of midriff-baring, leather, animal prints, sequins, high-slits and slicked-back hair. But, don’t feel bad if you missed the show, because we have highlighted the top 10 best and top 10 worst dressed for you to see. Best Dressed

1. SELENA GOMEZ IN ATELIER VERSACE – The one girl that knows how to keep it classy for her age.

2. RITA ORA IN DONNA KARAN ATELIER – One of the upcoming fall trends is the slick back hairstyle and Rita Ora pulls it off by wearing her beautiful high-slit red gown to go along with it. A confident lady in red.

3. NICKI MINAJ IN SAINT LAURENT – this glittery animal print dress looks stunning on her, it’s sexy and classy without showing too much of her assets.

4. MILEY CYRUS IN ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER – Wow, at first we were not huge fans of wearing all leather but, Miley rocked this look by showing just enough skin making her look clean, stylish and rock-ish!

5. LAVERNE COX IN MARC BOUWER – The star looks fabulous in this Marc Bouwer sparkling asymmetrical dress while showing off her long legs. Along with her blunt hairstyle – Laverne Cox gives us a taste of her edgy look!

6. KESHA IN JOHANNA JOHNSON – Her bumble hair colour looks fantastic on her (reminds us of my little pony) and by wearing this floor length sparkly dress it makes her look elegant and on a little girly side.

7. DEMI LOVATO IN LANVIN – This babe looks smokin’ hot in her bright red dress from Lanvin. The center high slit and the low-neckline definitely gives her the center attention to her curvy body.

8. BEYONCE IN NICOLAS JEBRAN – Bey knows how to show off her curves by wearing this gorgeous slim fitting lace gown, now we know why Jay-Z is “drunkin love”.

9. SOLANGE KNOWLES IN H&M STUDIO – We’re always keeping an eye out on something new and trendy on the red carpet and this here is what caught our attention – the all glitter tuxedo-inspired suit. She truly looked like she had fun putting this look together. It’s definitely on our top A-list.

10. LUCY HALE IN SACHIN & BABI CROP TOP AND FULL SKIRT BY ZIMMERMAN – The host of the MTV VMAs pre-show and superstar from “Pretty Little Liars” mixed a touch of sweetness with a rock inspired style. The leather crop top adds a little edge to her floral-print full skirt for a feminine touch.

Worst Dressed

1. JENNIFER LOPEZ IN CHARBEL ZOE – We definitely had a hard time putting this on the “worst list”. Although we have to admit she looks great for her age – the whole glitter look from head-to-toe is a little too much for her. If only she were to tone it down by wearing a different colour of shoes, like maybe “nude”?

2. AMBER ROSE IN LAURA DEWITT – Nearly naked, maybe she forgot the rest of your clothes at home…#justsayin

3. TAYLOR SWIFT IN MARY KATRANTZOU – A little disappointed in her, this onesies may have looked a little better if it was a touch longer otherwise she should’ve worn it for her performance.

4. ARIANA GRANDE IN MOSCHINO – She does have “one last problem” and that is wearing an all leather outfit from head-to-toe. It took away her cuteness, but we’re glad that she kept her signature hairstyle the high sleek pony tail.

5. BECKY G – the 17 year old rapper couldn’t decide what to go for sheer, studs or just a bra. She’s trying too hard to look older then she is.

6. CHARLI XCX IN MOSCHINO – We found this to be too wild for a red carpet. That is unless you’re shooting a music video out in the jungle.

7. GWEN STEFANI IN L.A.M.B. – we’ve always loved her fun and crazy style, but this two-toned black and pink outfit looks a little too casual for a red carpet glam.

8. IGGY AZALEA IN ATELIER VERSACE – The fit of this dress looks phenomenal on Iggy, but not the shiny silver aluminum look.

9. KATY PERRY AND RIFF RAFF IN VERSACE – Oh dear, we love Katy and all but this whole “matchy matchy” and all denim look is not doing her any justice.

10. KIM KARDASHIAN IN BALMAIN – this beaded mini-dress has a beautiful design. However, Kim’s boobs were taking up all the attention as opposed to appreciating the design of the dress.
