Outfit of the Day: Featuring the Hermès Jypsière Bag

Hermès creates some of the most iconic bags on the market – they’re constantly touted by celebrities and used as symbols of status. If you’ve heard of one famous handbag, it’s probably the Hermès-created Birkin bag, named after actress/singer Jane Birkin. The Birkin is a cultural phenomenon – in Platonic idealism, the Birkin would probably be the ultimate in bag-ness. A Hermès bag is one of the most valuable totes when it comes to resale (at one point it was said that a six-year wait was required to acquire a Birkin bag). As you can imagine, a Hermès bag is consequently a rare find at consignment shops, so we just had to snap up this beautiful pink Hermès Jypsière bag!

The Hermès Jypsière is a super-convenient bag for everyday use. Due to its elegance and uniqueness, I paired my pink Jypsière with a classic, chic floral print dress.

I absolutely adore the berry colour of this bag; it goes with pretty much everything in my closet! I chose to wear this simple black and white maxi dress to let the Jypsière’s colour stand out.
