The 2013 MTV EMA Awards: Standout Looks

The MTV European Music Awards always bring a little quirkiness to the table in terms of style – last year, Heidi Klum hosted in eight different Versace looks (nine if you count the after-party), and once Eva Longoria dressed up as a ham. Much like the VMAs, the EMAs get a bit of a sartorial pass as stage costumes and general musician-wear weirdness have to be accounted for. That said, it’s still entertaining to see what comes down the red carpet every year. Miley Cyrus’s much-anticipated appearances included on-stage pot smoking, some camel toe, and a little whale tail action for good measure. Here are some of the looks that stood out at Sunday night’s 2013 EMAs:
